Future has counter-sued his baby mama, Ciara in response to her $15million defamation lawsuit.
The rapper who went to court on April 8, 2016, to file his suit asking the court to throw out her claims, said he didn't defame her. He was only stating facts when he referred to as a washed up bitch.
According to court documents obtained by The Jasmine Brand, the rapper says Ciara waited past the statute of limitations to sue him for slander. He also pointed out that her publicized lawsuit generated more buzz than any of his tweets did and therefore she intentionally damaged herself by suing him.
He further claimed that the alleged service of process of the lawsuit by her was attempted at LAX in full view of paparazzi, saying she was playing to the gallery.
Future called the mother of his son, a publicity whore who is trying to generate PR for herself with the lawsuit.
He said when he tweeted that she is a bitch, what he actually means is that she is an overbearing, complaining or unpleasant - not a lewd or immoral, woman.
Future also said Ciara of lied about his tweet referencing the $15,000 child support. He says he is aware that's what she wants and she has said she will sue him for $20,000 in child support if he refuses to pay $15,000.
He says none of his social media messages were false or defamatory and there was no malice involved when he sent out the tweets. He said it was the normal reaction of a father who wanted to see his son more frequently and on a more reasonable basis — all of which is protected by freedom of speech.
Future says though they both work in the entertainment industry, Ciara cannot boast of a successful career as a singer. He says if that statement was made several years ago it would have been accurate to state, since she had a successful career but it has been declining over the past 2-3 years.
He says she does not have a “huge” fan base and is certainly not famous around the entire world and points out to her last album being a flop along with her currently not winning any awards.
Future also blasts his baby mama for claiming her success helped his career, saying she had no part in his rise to the top and needs to stop living in the past.
He states that Ciara is trying to milk the situation by creating media attention for herself by trying to use his high profile status and also the status of her fiancé Russell Wilson along with their minor child.
He says if she were really a great mother she wouldn’t parade their son around cameras and would actually work with him to create a schedule for him to see his kid.
Future slapped Ciara with the counter-suit demanding she stops making any further false statements about him and she should be ordered to pay for his legal fees because of her frivolous lawsuit. He also demanded unspecified punitive damages for violating the law with her nonsense complaint.
