Boxer Manny Pacquiao comes for gay people, says gay couples 'are worse than animals'

Philippino boxer Mannie Pacquiao, who has won world titles in eight different weight divisions, has risked the wrath of the gay community worldwide after he implied gay couples were worse than animals as they (gays) couldn't differentiate the opposite sex from the same sex.

Manny, who is currently running for a senate seat in the country's May elections said this when asked about his views on gay marriages which is against the law in the Philippines.

Pacquiao gave the television interview as part of his campaign for one of 12 seats in the nationally-elected senate.
"It's common sense. Do you see animals that go male to male or female to female? So the animals are even better," Pacquiao told local broadcaster TV5 in an interview aired this week. "Because they know how to distinguish from male to male or female to female. Right? Now if we allow male to male or female to female, then that makes us worse than animals."
It is not the first time, Pacquiao a devout christian has blasted gay relationships and marriages saying his new found faith in Christianity has turned him from a free spending gambler to a devout family man with principles.

Filipino comedian Vice Ganda and singer Aiza Seguerra, who are openly gay, have criticised Mr Pacquiao for his comments, calling him a "hypocrite" and a "false prophet". On Tuesday, Mr Pacquiao, posted a picture of himself with his wife on Instagram in an apparent response to the controversy. He said:
"I rather obey the Lord's command than obeying the desires of the flesh. I'm not condemning anyone, but I'm just telling the truth of what the Bible says."

Cristiano Ronaldo is labelled 'Spornosexual' by Mark Simpson who authored the term 'metrosexual'

According to Mark Simpson who created the term 'metrosexual', (which refers to a straight man who embraces the homosexual lifestyle, i.e. refined tastes in clothing, excessive use of designer hygiene products, a straight guy who’s so cool, smart, attractive, stylish, and cultured, that everyone thinks he’s gay), football star Cristiano Ronaldo is a Spornosexual.

Ronaldo has always been seen as the classic metrosexual: grooming and taking care of his appearance with meticulous care, and always sporting the latest fashion trend. Speaking in an interview with Catalan paper La Vanguardia yesterday, Simpson labeled Cristiano Ronaldo as a classic ‘Spornosexual‘implying he was at the forefront of the new frontier of men.

"(Spornosexual is) a fusion of sport and porn: cultivating an athletic body as an object of desire, and showing it off on social networks, accumulating sexual partners.' 'It’s a tendency with young men. Look at Cristiano Ronaldo: the self-praise of his body. The spornosexual wants to be loved for his body, not for what he does.’ Simpson said.

Philippines to auction former first lady's jewelry collection valued at about £14.5million

The jewelry collection of Philippines' former first lady, Imelda Marcos, valued at about £14.5million is to be sold by the Philippines government. The jewels were seized in 1986 when dictator Ferdinand Marcos and his family fled to Hawaii following a popular revolt that ended his 2 decades in power.

Now, 30 years later, the government has approved the auction of the collection, which includes a 25-carat rare pink Indian diamond which was probably cut in the 18th century worth at least £3.5million, officials said.

It is alleged that the dictators family amassed billions of dollars in ill-gotten wealth, his wife, Imelda, who is now a member of congress, was famed for her excesses of which her huge shoe collection was a symbol. The government had formerly tried to auction the jewelry collection in 2005 but that move was contested by Imelda who claimed ownership of two of the three sets, she has vowed to recover what she sees as her family's assets.

The couple's only son, Ferdinand, who is a senator, is in the race for vice president in the countries February elections and the polls show him to be a strong contender.

Taylor Swift takes a swipe at Kanye West at the Grammys

Taylor Swift took won  Album of the Year for the second time at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards for '1989', last night. The star took a swipe at Kanye West in her acceptance speech. This came after Kanye West, recently put Swift in his new song "Famous," where he said, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous."
Taylor said:

"I want to thank fans for the last 10 years and the Recording Academy for giving us this unbelievable honor. I want to thank all of my collaborators that you season this stage, mostly I want to thank my co-executive producer Max Martin who has deserved to be up here for 25 years," she began. ....
"And as the first woman to win Album of the Year at the Grammys twice, I want to say to all the young women out there, there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame. "But if you just focus on the work and you don't let those people sidetrack you, someday, when you get where you are going, you will look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there. And that will be the greatest feeling in the world. Thank you for this moment."

Grab a big bowl of popcorn and wait for Kanye's response because knowing him, it will long rant on his favourite special media platform.

Graghic footage: Drug dealer beaten with electrical cables & tourtured after being caught by pro-Russian rebels in Ukraine

The shocking video shows the man begging for his life as he's repeatedly brutally whipped with electrical cables while tied with red tape to a wooden post in southern Ukraine's Donetsk Oblast region.

The whipping was carried out by a militant identified as 'Olkhon' who came from the central Russian city of Novosibirsk to support Ukrainian pro-Russian rebels. A voice in the background of the video says: 'The f****** film shooting has started. This is the punishment of a drug dealer".

The man is subsequently asked if he is admitting he is a junkie, to which he cries out no.
The man then started to beg for his life and is heard saying:
Stop please! I'll say what you need. I will call another drug dealer and he will arrive with drugs.
But then they demand to know why he has a drug dealer's phone number and the beating continues.
The person who shot the video then speaks saying:
"We don't need courts, sentences, this is what we need.'
The video was posted online by an official community of pro-Russian rebels on the Russian social network VKontakte.

Woman Marries Herself Because She Is Fed Up Of Love Cheats

SOPHIE Tanner, 37, works at a search engine optimisation agency and lives in Brighton

"As I walked up the church steps in my cream lace bridal gown, I couldn’t help but beam at my friends and family who’d come to see me wed. But there was no groom to meet me – I was marrying myself.
During my 20s and early 30s, I had three serious relationships that all ended after my boyfriends cheated, which made it hard for me to trust men.
When my last relationship broke down six years ago, I was devastated, but once the fog had lifted, I knew I’d never let anyone have control over my feelings again. I thought: ‘Why should I wish my life away waiting for The One when I can be my own One?’

In 2009, I emailed the ceremonies officer at a registry office to ask whether it was possible to marry myself. He replied saying that marriage is between a man and a woman to the exclusion of everyone else (gay marriage had not yet been legalised), but I kept thinking about it and spent the next five years researching the concept of self-marriage.
In January 2015, despite the fact that it still wouldn’t be legally binding, I decided I really wanted to make a meaningful commitment to myself. Planning my big day felt empowering. I didn’t wish I was doing it with a groom. I did feel a bit silly at first, though, when people asked whether I’d have to ‘divorce’ myself if I met someone I liked.
But I had no intention of cutting off relationships forever and soon realised that as long as I was true to my vows – loving myself for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer – I could do what I liked.
My dad was completely accepting, and even asked what suit he should wear on the big day. My mum was really happy for me and most of my friends were supportive, too. One, an anthropologist, said it was like the coming-of-age ceremonies practised in other cultures.

The wedding took place on May 16, 2015 – a gloriously sunny Saturday. As I changed into my dress, jitters gave way to excitement. My 15 bridesmaids and I danced from Brighton Pier to the Unitarian Church to the sound of Chesney Hawkes’ The One And Only. We all carried bouquets of sunflowers to represent happiness.
Rather than holding the ceremony inside the church, I decided to conduct it on the front steps with my friend James officiating, dressed in a bishop’s costume. Having him there helped me feel comfortable in front of my family and friends and passers-by, who either loved it or thought it was a joke. When James said: ‘I now pronounce you wife,’ I felt euphoric as everyone cheered.
After the ceremony, 60 of us walked to a bar on the beach and spent the afternoon drinking Pimm’s. I didn’t have a cake or make a speech, but the day was perfect. I haven’t been on honeymoon yet, but I’m planning to help out at a friend’s volunteer project in Uganda when I can afford it. I spent around £800 on the wedding, and it was worth every penny.
Nine months on, I have no regrets. I feel like a stronger person and happier in my own company. Whenever I feel down, I remind myself that I promised to be my own best friend. My friends love introducing me by saying: ‘This is Sophie. She married herself!’
As my marriage isn’t legally binding, I could marry someone else without committing bigamy, but I intend to stick to the vows I made for the rest of my life. If I meet someone, I won’t hesitate to tell them about my self-married status – if he thinks I’m weird, he probably isn’t right for me!
If I’m still just married to myself when I’m 70, that’s fine by me."

Video: Heartbroken mum receives balloon from her dead child's 'ghost'

The heart-breaking footage, begins with the camera focusing on the white coffin of a small child which is sitting on an alter. As the wake progresses, one of the white balloons at the venue starts to strangely move around and eventually makes its way towards the distraught mum.

The video which is believed to have been filmed in Mexico shows the woman weeping while Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud plays. The balloon makes its way towards the woman and hovers around her head.
Rather than continuing to float,  it actually stays for at least 20 seconds before the grief- stricken mum noticed the strange occurrence. She eventually reaches out to it and cuddles it .

Since the clip was posted online, it has sparked a debate amongst those who've watched it. While some sent their condolences and messages of support for the mourning mum, others not convinced by the video made funny remarks:
"What times we live in, a mother is comforted by an invisible force, and what matters the most is that it was recorded in a funeral.
“Lie!! The balloon gets stuck on her back and for that reason does not continue due to airflow. Stop recording at funerals, Stupid"
"It's like being very thirsty while a bottle of water in front of you but do not drink the water because there is no glass. An absurd frivolity"
"How beautiful it happens that children go to heaven are not souls"
"I think it is a demon confusing mother".

Hermaphrodite Impregnates Self And Gives Birth To Hermaphrodite Twins

Jose Maria Garcia, a 19-year old born with both ovaries and testicles and who has both male and female sex organs has given birth on February 10th at the Amisola Maternity Hospital, reports the Manila Times.
Both babies were also born hermaphrodites, displaying physical characteristics and genitals of both genders, a “miraculous event” according to Dr. Xi Huan Chow, Medical director at Amisola Maternity Hospital.
“We are privileged to experience such an unusual birth” he told reporters, visibly happy with the turn of events. “Hundreds of people have come to witness these miracles of nature. Both babies are extremely healthy and vibrant with life,” he explained with enthusiasm.

An unexpected birth
Jose Maria Garcia, the mother and father of the two children, admits the birth was not expected at all.
“I have never had any sexual experience with someone outside of myself. I was unaware that I could impregnate myself, but I would never go back even with what I know now. These children are beautiful and I am happy to share my life with them,” he told reporters.
An extremely rare chromosomal disorder
Most experts believe such an occurrence is impossible outside of the animal kingdom, although many cases of human self-fertilization have been reported in medical literature, explains leading researcher Dr. Akira Hashimoto of the University of Tokyo.
“In asexual reproduction, an organism can reproduce without the involvement of another organism. Asexual reproduction is not limited to single-celled organisms. For example, a great number of snails and slugs are hermaphrodites. Hermaphroditism is also found in some fish species and to a lesser degree in other vertebrates,” he acknowledges. “The evolution of sexual reproduction is still a major puzzle for biologists,” he admits.
The first account of self-fertilization in history is ascribed to Juanita Franciscella, a Spanish street artist also known as the “bearded woman of Castilla”, who in 1483 is said to have given birth to a child of her own conception. The birth was judged heretical by the Spanish Inquisition and she was burned with her child at the stake.
