Mila Assouté Mobilising Cameroonians to Chase Out Biya in 2018
Pierre Mila Assouté, former member of the Central Committee of President Paul Biya’s CPDM party, has told Cameroonians that power belongs to them and that it is time they take it back preferably through the ballot box.
Mila who is now President of the Democratic Movement for Modern Cameroon (DMMC) party is determined to oust Biya despite calls for him not only to stand for re-election but to organize early presidential election.
“I am going to end my exile and come home to defend my nation in the next presidential electoral competition be them anticipated or not,” The Post newspaper quoted him as saying in a declaration. He intends to attempt standing for presidential election for the third time. The first two attempts were foiled through the rejection of his candidature.
He considers another amendment of the Constitution and the re-nomination of 83-year-old Biya to stand for anticipated election as a heresy, a kind of madness and phobia that has partially attacked the political elite of Cameroon.
The constitution, he said, “expressly prohibits the exercise of sovereignty by a fraction of the people, talk less of pressure groups.” Adding that; “State power is not private property.”
For Mila, “It is not acceptable that we watch a faction of people destroy Cameroon. The notorious adventurers with corrupt consciences placed in public affairs and with a strange notion of the State who want chaos will answer for their actions.”
To send away the notorious adventurers, he says, “The next presidential elections in Cameroon, be them anticipated or not, is a long awaited opportunity for the youths to chase out the predators and restore order in the city.”
$127m Lottery Winner Sued by Her Pastor for Not Fulfilling Her Pledge (Photo)
A pastor of a church has sued a member for not giving him a part of her lottery winning claiming her refusal had put him through emotional distress and mental stress.
Lottery winner, Marie Holmes
|
Pastor Kevin Matthews out of North Carolina is suing Marie Holmes, the woman from North Carolina who won $188 million in the Powerball lottery.
Holmes is a single mother of four children — one of whom has cerebral palsy. Holmes worked multiple jobs to take care of her children, and by becoming a Powerball jackpot winner, plenty assumed that her troubles would be over.
Holmes is reportedly facing a $10 million lawsuit from a pastor, no less. Pastor Matthews — a local North Carolina pastor — is allegedly suing Holmes to get a share of the $127 million that Marie took home after she decided to receive her Powerball lottery winnings in a lump sum payment.
Pastor Matthews claims that he and Marie engaged in a verbal — not written — contract worth $1.5 million for Holmes to buy land to act as the home of some sort of retreat facility. The pastor spoke with EURweb in an exclusive interview that claims the Lord led him to Holmes.
Although Pastor Matthews claims he suffered from mental distress and emotional distress over Holmes allegedly reneging on her verbal promise over the $1.5 million Marie was reportedly supposed to give Pastor Matthews for the retreat, Holmes’ lawyer, Ruth Sheehan, knew nothing about the lawsuit.
Pastor Matthews claimed he went through such a hard time that he needed more meds.
Pastor Matthews said the retreat center was something that the pastor had prayed about for years.
The backlash being felt by the rumored lawsuit involves a supposed man of God allegedly forgetting the popular 1 Corinthians 6:1 verse that dissuades Christians from taking one another to court.
PAP Expels Members Who Sacked Ayah From Party
Albert Mukwelle Ngoh, Apack Takor and Ekambi Mukwelle Alphonse, members of the People’s Action Party, PAP (now going by the appellation of Popular Action Party) who announced Ayah Paul’s sacking from the party, have themselves been expelled from PAP.
They were sanctioned by the PAP Council of the Wise, Saturday March 12, 2016, for indulging themselves in “gross and crude anti-party activities inimical to party unity and its smooth functioning,” an official PAP communiqué stated.
“By virtue of the fiat issued this Saturday, the 12th day of March, 2016, by the PAP Council of the Wise, and subject to endorsement by PAP National Council scheduled to hold in a not-too-distant future, the following active or dormant members of PAP are, with immediate effect, expelled from the party:
1. Mr. Albert Ngoh,
2. Mr. Apack Takor,
3. Mr. Alphonse Ekambi,”
Going by Ayah, PAP National Chairman, the party shall put flesh on its decision in a press conference, though he didn’t specify when the conference will hold.

Ayah had on Wednesday March 9, been fired from his own party but he came out swinging, insisting that he remains chairman.
He called on the author(s) of the information to get ready to substantiate their charges against him before the courts.
The SOURCE gathered on good authority that the organisers of the ordinary executive committee meeting of PAP which sanctioned Ayah’s dismissal were sponsored by some Meme CPDM elite, though we are yet to ascertain who the elites are.

Worthy of note is the fact that the PAP Council of the Wise sits in lieu of the Disciplinary Committee. It is the highest body that enforces decisions of the PAP National Council.
Top 10 gruesome Bible verses you’ll never hear in church
Did you know that the Bible, that is widely considered to be one of the most sacred books in the world, contains verses so explicit and controversial you’ve probably never heard them in church?
While some Bible scholars explain the extremely bizarre verses by being mere metaphors or specific historical context, others are not so sure about ambiguity of the passages of scripture and interpret them rather literally. There are just some of the verses that desperately need to be justified as soon as possible:
1) 2 Kings 2:23-24; New International Version (NIV)
From there Elisha [the prophet] went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, some boys came out of the town and jeered at him. “Get out of here, baldy!” they said. “Get out of here, baldy!” He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of theLord. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the boys.
Does that mean God hates children mocking his prophets and even sends bears to attack them for being rude?
2) 1 Samuel 15:3 (NIV)
“Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.”
Is this gruesome verse endorsing genocide?
3) Psalm 137:9 (NIV)
“Happy is the one who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks.”
Is the Bible encouraging brutal murder of children?
4) Deuteronomy 13:6-9 (NIV)
“If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known, gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other), do not yield to them or listen to them. Show them no pity. Do not spare them or shield them. You must certainly put them to death. Your hand must be the first in putting them to death, and then the hands of all the people.”
Is the Bible calling to kill loved ones instead of being tolerant and merciful?

5) Leviticus 11:10 (NIV)
“But all creatures in the seas or streams that do not have fins and scales — whether among all the swarming things or among all the other living creatures in the water — you are to regard as unclean.”
Eating shrimps, lobsters or crayfish is sinful?
6) 1 Timothy 2:12 (NIV)
“I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet.”
Is the Bible openly promoting sexism and gender inequality?
7) Matthew 19:24 (NIV)
“Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”
Does that mean as long as you are poor you can enter heaven easily and if you are prosperous prepare yourself for hellfire?
8) Jeremiah 9:19 (NIV)
“I will make them eat the flesh of their sons and daughters, and they will eat one another’s flesh because their enemies will press the siege so hard against them to destroy them.”
Cannibalism, seriously?
9) 1 Peter 2:18 (NIV)
“Slaves, in reverent fear of God submit yourselves to your masters, not only to those who are good and considerate, but also to those who are harsh.”
The Bible promotes slavery?
10) Leviticus 19:27 (NIV)
“Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard.”
Why? Just why?
Gang member with Gucci tattoo on his forehead captured in California
Fresno Police later raided Thammavong's home discovering photos of the tatted convict with guns not registered to him, a semi-automatic rifle, other various hand guns, and a mini marijuana farm.
Don't know how he thought he'd remain free with that Gucci tattoo and other tats on his face, lol.

Jaden Smith covers British GQ Style mag, talks about distinction between male and female clothing
‘I feel like people are kind of confused about gender norms. I feel like people don’t really get it.' ‘I’m not saying that I get it, I’m just saying that I’ve never seen any distinction. I don’t see man clothes and woman clothes, I just see scared people and comfortable people.’
Humans of New York creator Brandon Stanton pens open letter to Donald Trump...and it's gone viral!
Humans of New York creator and blogger Brandon Stanton who usually lets his subjects do the talking has written an open letter to Donald Trump. In the letter posted to social media on Monday, 32-year-old Stanton summed up the many issues he has with the Republican presidential frontrunner, notably his controversial remarks about Muslims, immigrants and refugees.
The post has since gone viral garnering over a million Likes and thousands of Shares. Stanton said he has tried to stay away from politics but he could no longer stand by and not take a stand against "violence and prejudice"
"An Open Letter to Donald Trump:
Mr. Trump,
I try my hardest not to be political. I’ve refused to interview several of your fellow candidates. I didn’t want to risk any personal goodwill by appearing to take sides in a contentious election. I thought: ‘Maybe the timing is not right.’ But I realize now that there is no correct time to oppose violence and prejudice. The time is always now. Because along with millions of Americans, I’ve come to realize that opposing you isno longer a political decision. It is a moral one.
I’ve watched you retweet racist images. I’ve watched you retweet racist lies. I’ve watched you take 48 hours to disavow white supremacy. I’ve watched you joyfully encourage violence, and promise to ‘pay the legal fees’ of those who commit violence on your behalf. I’ve watched you advocate the use of torture and the murder of terrorists’ families. I’ve watched you gleefully tell stories of executing Muslims with bullets dipped in pig blood. I’ve watched you compare refugees to ‘snakes,’ and claim that ‘Islam hates us.’
I am a journalist, Mr. Trump. And over the last two years I have conducted extensive interviews with hundreds of Muslims, chosen at random, on the streets of Iran, Iraq, and Pakistan. I’ve also interviewed hundreds of Syrian and Iraqi refugees across seven different countries. And I can confirm— the hateful one is you.
Those of us who have been paying attention will not allow you to rebrand yourself. You are not a ‘unifier.’ You are not ‘presidential.’ You are not a ‘victim’ of the very anger that you’ve joyfully enflamed for months. You are a man who has encouraged prejudice and violence in the pursuit of personal power. And though your words will no doubt change over the next few months, you will always remain who you are.
Sincerely,
Brandon Stanton

Cameroonian actress Sende Bende supports Laquintinie hospital?
Cameroonians!! You amaze me. Do u Facebookers watch national news? Someone wakes up early in the morning with "hearsay information" and in a blink of an eye it goes viral. Now first and foremost Monique got to Laquintini dead. The first hospital she visited insisted they run a few tests on her b4 they can prescribe treatment because it was the first time she was visiting their hospital which to me was professional enough. It should be noted that, that was also the first time she was going to a hospital throughout her pregnancy which to me is madness and the height of negligence. She was actually admitted in that hospital but her family members discharged her. The nurse in charge of that hospital said on the news that the woman was dead before they left for Laquintini . The relatives pleaded that the babies should be saved but she explained to them that if the mother is already dead then the babies are dead as well. But they insisted that was when she told them to go to Laquintini . People attest that they saw the family members crying while leaving that clinic. It's true that negligence with regards to human life is alarming in Laquintini but can someone tell me what life was neglected. Can a fetus survive in the womb of its dead mother? How can it breath when the main oxygen source has already shutdown? If the so call family members loved her or those poor innocent babies they would have made sure she goes for antenatal appointments which is almost free. Like Steph rightly asked where is the father of this woman? Hate me for saying this but I'm sick and tired of this quest for cheap popularity on Facebook.
Photo: 10-year-old boy seen hawking dangerous insecticide in Sabon Gari,
This 10-year-old boy is being exposed to health hazards selling poisonous insecticide in Sabon Gari Market, Kano. Below is what Mohammed Shehu who shared the photo wrote:
"I just met this boy this afternoon selling a very dangerous insecticide. He is barely 10 or 12 years of age. My concern: is this boy capable of handling these kind of poisonous materials?
On cross-examining him, I found out that the boy is 'Almajiri', and was asked to hawk these items by some guys in Sabon Gari Market. He lives with his Mallam at my neighbourhood. He is neither aware of the harmful effect of the chemicals nor trained to handle such items. I gave him some money and asked him to return it to the owner and never hawk such materials. This 'Almajiranci' must stop for us to progress as people. Allah ya kiyaye, Amee"
