Photos: 16-month-old toddler found drowned in bucket of water under kitchen sink

A 16-month-old toddler Muhammad Fahil Finaz Nor Azuan was found drowned in a pail at a house in Kampung Bukit Gombang, Batu Kikir, Malaysia on Monday night.

The toddler's mother discovered the incident about 10.40pm, after realising that the little boy was not with his father and three-year-old sister.

 

Fahil's father, Nor Azuan Azali, 33, (pictured carrying the body) said his wife thought that their son was with her in their room but sensed something wrong as she did not hear his voice.

"We later found him with his head and half his body submerged inside a water-filled bucket under the kitchen sink. My wife and I tried to resuscitate him but failed. We then rushed him to the Tuanku Ampuan Najihah Hospital for treatment,"

Sadly, the child was confirmed dead by doctors. The body was brought to the forensic unit for post-mortem. Meanwhile, Jempol district police chief Superintendent Noorzainy Mohd Noor said police have classified the case as sudden death.

Donald Trump says new London mayor Sadiq Khan is exempt from Muslim US ban

US Presidential candidate Donald Trump says that newly elected London Mayor Sadiq Khan who is a Muslim is exempt from his Muslim US ban if he becomes president.

Mayor Khan had earlier said that he had to go to America before November 2016 so he won't be banned in case Trump becomes President. But the Billionaire business man says that the new Mayor is an exemption from his previous comments on banning Muslims entering into the US if he becomes president.

On Monday he said he was “happy” that London had elected its first Muslim Mayor and suggested that Khan would be among the exceptions to his proposal.

“There will always be exceptions,” Mr. Trump said when asked in an interview with New York Times on Monday how his proposed ban would affect London’s new mayor, Sadiq Khan.

“I was happy to see that,” Mr. Trump said of Mr. Khan’s election. “I think it’s a very good thing, and I hope he does a very good job because frankly that would be very, very good.”

Asked why, Mr. Trump said, “Because I think if he does a great job, it will really — you lead by example, always lead by example. If he does a good job and frankly if he does a great job, that would be a terrific thing.”

Mr. Khan, in an interview with Time magazine after his election, said

“If Donald Trump becomes the president I’ll be stopped from going there by virtue of my faith, which means I can’t engage with American mayors and swap ideas,”

'Don't come to Rio Olympics, you are putting your life at risk' - Brazil football legend Rivaldo warns tourists

Brazilian football legend Rivaldo who memorably shone at the 2002 FIFA World Cup has warned tourists planning to visit Brazil this summer for the RIO Olympics to stay in their countries as they could endanger their lives, after a 17-year-old girl was shot dead in a robbery on a main road linking the city's airport with many Games venues.

Ana Beatriz Pereira Frade was shot on Saturday morning by an armed gang on a main road known as the Yellow Line road connecting the city’s international airport with most of the Olympic venues. The girl was heading to the airport with her family members and a baby when she was hit by the bullet from the armed men.

This is not the first time violence, fights, death attacks have occurred in Brazil or it's football stadiums as the people and labour unions are unhappy with government over huge money spent on football and sports competitions while the poverty level in the land increases by the day.

Posting on Instagram, the 44 year old Rivaldo who lives with his family in the United States said, “I urge all of you who are planning on visiting Brazil or coming for the Olympic Games this summer to stay in your countries. You are putting your life at risk here.”

Man yelling 'Allahu akbar' stabs four at Munich railway station, one confirmed dead

A  young man killed one person and wounded three others in a knife attack at a German railway station on Tuesday, May 10 that prosecutors said had "an apparant Islamist motive". According to the police, the man slashed four people around 5am local time at the station in the town of Grafing east of Munich.

 

 

A spokesman for the prosecutor's office said one man had died from injuries sustained in the attack

He said the 27-year-old "assailant made remarks at the scene of the crime that indicate a political motive- apparently an Islamist motive.

"We are still determining what the exact remarks were" he said.

However, local media reported that witness had said the young man had yelled "Allhu akbar" during the attack.

The police spokesman said "a political background cannot be ruled out," adding that the man was not very cooperative.

Mayor Angelika Obermayr described the Islamist suspect as a '27-year-old German man'

Muslim student called ISIS in Los Angeles High School yearbook

A Muslim student of Los Osos High School, Los Angeles was called "ISIS" in her yearbook. Bayan Zehlif's photo was printed with the label "Isis Phillips" in what the principal called an "error" Zehlif posted the photo on Facebook on May 6, writing:

"I am extremely saddened, disgusted, hurt and embarrassed that the Los Osos High School yearbook was able to get away with this. Apparently I am "Isis" in the yearbook. The school reached out to me and had the audacity to say that this was a typo. I beg to differ, let's be real."

Photo: Criminal gangs kill 9-year-old boy after his parents delayed in paying ransom

The body of a nine-year-old boy was found dumped on the road on Sunday morning, May 8 in Al-Nasiriya town in Wirshiffana district, Libya. Ehab Al-Maedani had been abducted by Wirshiffana criminal gangs for about 10 days before the kidnappers decided to kill him and throw him on the road as his family failed to pay the LYD2,000 ransom they demanded.

According to Libya Observer, this criminality by Wirshiffana bandits, who are part of the so-called Tribes Army and loyalists to Gaddafi as well as to the Dignity Operation led by renegade General Khalifa Haftar, is so far unnoticed by the international human rights organisations, such as Human Rights Watch and by the UNSMIL, allowing it to become a hub for bandits and criminals.

Khloe Kardashian lashes out at trolls who say she photoshops her leg, explains why she does

Online trolls have always criticized Khloe Kardashian for photoshopping her legs and she has, most of the time, owned up to it. On Monday Khloe took to her website khloewithak.com to explain why she tends to Photoshop that one leg. She explained that she has to have reconstructive surgery done on that leg due to the car accident she had when she was only 16-years-old.
She titled the entry, 'Why I Photoshopped This Picture. She wrote:

'Whenever I post a picture of my legs on Instagram, everyone comments on how fu**ed up my knees look. 'It's because I've had reconstructive surgery, you a**holes!' 'My right leg is an inch and a half thinner than my left because my muscles deteriorated and never recovered. 

'It's funny because everyone made a big stink about this Instagram photo because I Photoshopped it. Yes, I did Photoshop it, but I was trying to make my thinner leg look bigger to match my other leg!!! 'All I want are big, thick thighs and I hate how skinny my legs are.' 

'The reason I've had so many of these surgeries and always wear a knee brace for my workouts is because I was in a car accident when I was 16.'

She continued:

'To this day, I remember the exact streets (Ventura Blvd. and Coldwater Canyon). 'I was speeding and the other car ran a stop sign. I was wearing my seatbelt but the strap was under my armpit. 'I was in a small Mercedes and it compacted in the wreck. My head and upper body went through the windshield and my legs were stuck under the steering wheel.' 

'I still remember hitting the other car, feeling the car spinning, and hitting a pole. 'I was on crutches for six months and had a leg brace that went from my ankle to my upper thigh. I had a neck brace, burns all over my body and had to take showers sitting in a chair.'

She said her best friends, twins- 'Malika and Khadijah were there for her.
She added:

'Malika and Khadijah would literally help me shower. They also did my hair so that I wouldn't have to wash it as often. That's how I first started wearing cornrows!' 

'I had knee surgery the day of my accident and a couple more after that. Lord, help me! So next time you see me in a knee brace, you know why!'

Homeless man jailed for stealing a $6.99 Mother's Day card

A 56 year old homeless man, Oswald Jones, from New York who wanted to celebrate Mother's day by giving his mum a card was  has been arrested 92 times was jailed again - this time because he wanted to show his mom how arrested  when hewas caught stealing a blue and white sparkly $6.99 Mother's Day card from Jay's Hallmark shop inside Port Authority Bus Terminal, Manhattan on Saturday afternoon.

The card simply read : 'You've been a lifesaver more than you know'.
Jones, took the card, hid it inisde a clear plastic bag that he had with him and tried to walk away with it from the store without paying for it.
Store workers caught him with the card - which is the only thing he took -and contacted the manager.
The manager told him he would let him go if he gave the card back, but Jones refused, telling the manager to let him leave with the card because it wasn't expensive and he needed to give it to his mum for mother's day.
The manager insisted that he couldn't keep it, this got Jones upset so he started shouting curse words at the manager.

The police were called and Jones was arrested and taken into custody, where he was later overheard saying 'I really love my mom'.

Jones was charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property and was released on Sunday after he spent a night in jail.

According to public records, Jones has been arrested 92 times which included 13 felonies but most arrests, which dates back to 1989 were for minor infractions, such as public drinking or turnstile jumping.

Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling secretly gave birth to their daughter

Eva Mendes, 42 and her partner of almost 5 years Ryan Gosling, 35, welcomed their second daughter on April 29th at 8:03am according to a birth certificate obtained by TMZ.
Eva was seen trying to hide her pregnancy just two weeks before she gave birth . No one really knew she was pregnant until she was seen on April 14th hiding what seemed like a baby bump.

Her second child was named Amada Lee Gosling. A name she shares with their older daughter, 20 month old, Esmeralda Amada Gosling.

The baby was born at Providence St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica.
