Elton John accuses Janet Jackson of lip-syncing during shows

During an interview for the new issue of Rolling Stone, ace singer, Sir Elton John accused singer, Janet Jackson of lip-syncing and fumed that he would rather see a drag queen sing than hear her sing.
Sir Elton John said that for the life of him, he can't understand why Janet Jackson attracts so much praise for her concerts because he doesn't think she sings live, he thinks she lip syncs at all her concerts.

He said:

"You know, f**king music magazines writing a review of Janet Jackson saying, 'This is the greatest show - four and a half stars.'

"It's f**king lip-synced! Hello! That's not a show! I'd rather go and see a drag queen. F**k off."

Elton John who is known to be outspoken has called out several artists in the past, including Madonna, his old friend Billy Joel  etc.

Kim K shared some throwback photos she took in Deer Valley Utah last year on her websitekimkardashianwest.com. The photoshoot was done before she got pregnant with her 2nd child, Saint and they were shot by her Husband, Kanye West in freezing temperature. She wrote:

"To celebrate my BFF Allison's birthday last year, Kanye and I went on a really fun couples ski trip to Deer Valley, Utah.

"Everyone made me wear a helmet, which, at first, I hated - but I ended up getting really into it. Of course, I had to do an impromptu photo shoot in the snow. I was freezing, but I love how the pics turned out!"

10 year iold girl dies saving 2 todllers from runaway SUV

10-year-old California girl Kiera Larsen, died while saving two toddlers from a rolling vehicle. The 3 children were playing on Monday evening around 5pm, when the 10 year old noticed an SUV rolling in reverse towards them and pushed the two babies, ages 1 and 2, away from the SUV, police in Lakeside said.

The vehicle struck the 10-year-old and pushed her through a fence, KGTV reported. She was immediately rushed to the to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Neighbours said the children were playing in their yard before the vehiclre rolled towards them.

Officials didn’t explain why the SUV, a 1999 Mercedes-Benz, started rolling in reverse down the driveway.

“She is truly a hero. She will forever be my kids’ guardian angel,” said Alissa Jenkins, who is the mother of one-year-old Adison and two-year-old Emma, the girls Kiera had saved.

“She saved both my daughters’ lives. These are my two kids that I have and both of them could’ve been gone in an instant and she stepped in and took over and did what she knows best to do—and that’s to protect those around her.”

Jenkins and fiance Jonathan Gusich said they’ll never be able to repay her.

“She was a big sister to them. She was always looking out for them and apparently she gave her life for my kids,” Gusich told FOX5. “I don’t know how to repay them, repay her. She must have been the guardian angel yesterday and they’re here because of her.”

A GoFundMe account was set up for Kiera’s family, and more than $53,000 has been raised as at this morning.

A CHP officer on the scene also described her as a hero.
“A child died heroically, I mean if you think about it, she sacrificed herself for another small child,”
Adding that police are going to do an inspection on the vehicle, find out why this happened, find out if there was some sort of malfunction on the vehicle and go from there.

23 year old Ukrainian man poses as US high school student for four years

A 23 year old Ukrainian man, Artur Samarin, has been arrested after his real age was exposed. Samarin had been posing as a high school student in the US state of Pennsylvania for four years, enrolled at Harrisburg High under the name "Asher Potts" after his visa expired in 2012.

Mr Samarin, who was pretending to be 18, was said to be an active member of the school community.
Police said he was in possession of a driver's license using the Potts name at the time of his arrest, as well as a Social Security card obtained using a false birth date and now faces charges of theft, identity theft and tampering with public records.

Harrisburg School district official Kirsten Keys say he was an active student at the school.

Marcel McCaskill, who joined Mr Samarin on a seven-week science and maths programme at Penn State told AP it was "totally mind-blowing" to find out about his real identity.

"Honestly, he was a very respectable guy. He was the perfect role model, someone you would want your son to look up to."

He was involved in food banks and cadet programmes, and was even on the panel of a forum discussing youth violence in the greater Harrisburg area at the start of this year and was also presented with a certificate introducing him as "a new member of the National Honor Society".

Surrogate mother who had triplets is now seeking for parental rights

Remember the 50 year old man who asked a surrogate to carry his fertilized eggs for him in the hopes of having a child only for her to end up being pregnant with triplets which he asked her to abort because he couldn't afford to take care of 3 children? Well, she gave birth to all 3 children on Monday in a California hospital, and is now seeking parental rights.

The babies were delivered several weeks premature Monday night, according to a lawyer for Melissa Cook, who is the 47-year-old surrogate mother.

That man, a deaf, 50-year-old postal worker from Georgia identified in court papers as “C.M.,” paid Cook to carry a child for him.

"I'm healthy, I'm 28 weeks pregnant, the babies are doing great, the three little boys I have inside me," Cook told Fox News outside court earlier this month before they were born.

In California, a gestational surrogate – a woman who carries a donor’s eggs - has no parental rights, but Cook is challenging the state's surrogacy law in federal court, claiming it is unconstitutional.
Cook's lawyer, Harold Cassidy, a nationally prominent pro-life and anti-surrogacy lawyer said:

"It's an attempt to reduce women to an object, or a breeding animal," charges who is calling for a moratorium on surrogacy'.

"You can doctor this up, you can play word games with it, but this is simply and purely the sale of a child," he added.

Cassidy told Fox News the babies were immediately taken from Cook as soon as they were born, because a state court judge had granted the father parental rights, a ruling Cassidy is appealing.

"The hospital personnel refused to let Melissa see the children, allow her to know what their condition is, refused to tell her their exact weights, and she is not being permitted to see the children at all," Cassidy said. "We have a mother who loves them, who fought for them, who defended their life, who stands ready to take care of them. You can't tell a mother who gives birth to children that what happens to the children is none of her business."

Turkey journalists freed from prison after court ruling

Two Turkish journalists Can Dundar and Erdem Gul, who were charged with revealing state secrets have been freed from prison. The duo who worked for the newspaper Cumhuriyet, were detained in November over a report alleging that the Turkish government tried to ship arms to Islamists in Syria. Both journalist had been jailed at Silivri jail on the outskirts of Istanbul.

The Turkey's constitutional court challenged the charges, saying they violated freedom of the press, they won the case and were both released early on Friday after three months in jail.
Large crowds chanting support met them outside prison on their release.

Mr Dundar, the paper's editor-in-chief, and Mr Gul, its Ankara bureau chief, spent 92 days in prison and had been due to go on trial on 25 March. He said:

"This is a trial of press freedom," Mr Dundar said. "We got out but more than 30 colleagues are still in prison. I hope that this ruling will pave way for their freedom as well."

"We would continue to fight for press freedom until this concentration camp that you see behind me becomes a museum".

The court, which ruled on Thursday agreed that their "rights to personal liberty and security had been violated and that the decision was overwhelmingly approved with 12 votes for and three against, Turkish media reports said.

Bangolang Chieftaincy Palaver: Villagers Besiege NW Governor's Office

Some villagers from Bangolang in the Ngoketunjia Division of the North West Region have stormed North West Governor's office requesting for the release of their brothers, sisters, and parents who were arrested last week. The group which is mostly made up of youths have vowed that they will not leave the governor's office until their compatriots are released from detention. It should be recalled that on February 17, Bagolang village registered an unprecedented incident when some kingmakers attempted to dethrone their ruler Fon Chafah Isaac. During that incident, some elders and youths were also arrested. 

On February 19, 2016, North West Governor arrived the scene. His vehicle was vandalized and it is alleged that even those who were in support of Fon Chafah like the mayor of Babessi also saw their property vandalized. This incident has generated alot of debate on the social media as expressionists say the people could dethrone their fon while others say in the graffi tradition, the fon is enthroned for life.

Brit Awards 2016: Adele dominates with four awards (photos)

Adele was crowned queen of the Brits after sweeping the board with four awards on a night which demonstrated that guitar-based indie rock is not dead.

With regular visits to the winners’ podium and a live performance, Adele was the undoubted star of the O2 Arena show, despite spectacular performances from Rihanna and an “understated” tribute to David Bowie, featuring the late star’s touring band.


The absence of black artist at the Brits was clear, however the organisers admit action is needed to inject greater diversity into music industry showcase as black artists miss out.

Rihanna and British singer Adele were among the best dressed artistes to grace the red carpet at the Brit Awards which took place last night.

If you have been vigilant you would realise the music scene in Cameroon has taken a whole new direction. And these two guys Salatiel Sala'a and Mr. Leo Philantropic happen to be major contributors to the movement. 

Salatiel Sala'a has been a major contributor to the music scene for so many years. Started as singer, producer and then after rebranding himself popped out of no where with the nationally acclaimed hit trackFAP KOLO, that made him the winner of the MTN make the music show. This solidified the position of his record label called Alpha Better Records. Salatiel Sala'a continued being a producer and blessed us with one of his signings called Mr. LEO. Now Mr Leo is the man. He has an awesome voice and a loving personality. 

Mr Leo is a real artist. Has an incredible work ethic and is full of ambition. It was his hit track E go Betterproduced by Salatiel that changed the game for him. Today he is one of the leading artists changing the business and making it stand out. 
Well Salatiel just finished the video shoot for his new track Sa Ce passe ici. You all will have to wait and see. They are the future!

Woman in India is raped in her hospital bed just hours after giving birth via C-section (photos)

A 23-year-old woman in Delhi, India, suffered the worst form of abuse when she was raped in her hospital bed just hours after a traumatic birth via C-section. She was recovering in the intensive care unit of the private hospital in New Delhi after the caesarian section when she claimed she was attacked. The suspected rapist (pictured above) was caught on CCTV getting out of a car and entering the ICU at 3:30am on the day of the attack.

He got past a guard by claiming he was a doctor and was seen checking on patients in the ICU but staff didn't question his presence or purpose in the ward. According to the victim, the man seen on the CCTV raped her in her hospital bed, and despite her screams no one came to her aid.

A relative of the woman who was allegedly assaulted says no one responded to her screams. 'She is my nephew's wife and she gave birth to a girl yesterday and was admitted to the hospital,' a relative of the alleged victim said. 'I was with her till late 9:45 pm and then left because the hospital staff said no one was allowed to stay the night in the ICU. There was nobody in the ICU when the man entered. 'All the patients were sleeping. My daughter-in-law screamed but nobody came, neither any nurse nor any doctor.'

The police released images from the CCTV footage hoping someone would identify the man in the video
