WWE legend Chyna, 46, whose real name is Joanie Laurer was found dead on Wednesday April 20th in her Redondo Beach, California apartment, by her friend who hadn't heard from her for a few days. According to TMZ, her death is being investigated by the Police as a possible overdose due to her history of abusing drugs.
Her friend went to check on her and found her unresponsive in the bedroom of her home and made the call to police who arrived at the apartment at about 7:30pm Wednesday. Prescription bottles were found in the home, but there were no illegal drugs ... according to our sources.
Cops say there are no signs of foul play.
Chyna was 46-years-old.
A statement was posted to Chyna's official Twitter account confirming the death ... saying,
