Men might have to obtain written permission from wife before buying Viagra

A bill has been proposed by a Kentucky lawmaker, Mary Lou Marzian requring men who want, Viagra, a drug used for erectile dysfunction to get a signed note from their wives before their doctor can prescribe them the drug.
In the proposed law, men will also visit a doctor or healthcare practitioner twice, on separate days, before obtaining Viagra or any other erectile dysfunction drug.
“I want to protect these men from themselves,” Marzian said, the Courier-Journal reported “This is about family values,” she added.
The proposed law would also require “a man to make a sworn statement with his hand on a Bible that he will only use a prescription for a drug for erectile dysfunction when having sexual relations with his current spouse.”
