Women’s National team Head Coach Enow Ngachu says winning the trophy of the Women National Team of the Year brings in more pressure as Cameroon is set to host the African Women Championship in November.
“With this trophy there would be more pressure on us as Cameroon is organizing the African Women Championship come November. Our objective is to win the Cup; it would be the greatest gift we can hand to the Head of State in December”.
Ngachu dedicated the trophy of the Women National Team of the Year to all Cameroonians, hailed the players and staff for a wonderful job and Cameroonians for supporting their National team.
Cameroon won their first award in 2011 but the recent award is special because it is a result of hard work coupled with the challenge that lies ahead.
Fecafoot and the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education representatives, family, friends and fans were at the Yaoundé Nsimalen Airport to welcome the coach Ngachu and Gaelle Enganamouit following their participation at the CAF GLO Awards gala in Abuja –Nigeria.
