New kid on the block, EY, drops bangin’ single 'Youngote'


Ernest E. Oyakhilome popularly known as EY amongst his peers, is a Nigerian artist born and raised within the shores of Nigeria. The multi-talented EY, is a singer, rapper and song writer who has been nurturing his talent for quite some time. 

Music has always been a part of his life because he became exposed to music of the renascent era at a tender age which further influenced a greater interest for him in writing and composition of songs. 

EY’s first studio experience was in 2012 when he met Ex-O, a renowned music producer, who sharpened his musical ideas and transformed his sound into mainstream music. It has been a professional synergy so far that has yielded optimal musical achievements. 


His debut single “YOUNGOTE” is an inspirational song that enlightens all lovers of music who are young at heart and have a drive for success, how holding on to your dreams can be a fruitful exercise. Never give up is the story behind “YOUNGOTE”.


 “YOUNGOTE” is a derivative of the words “YOUNG” and the name of Africa’s most successful young business tycoon, “DANGOTE” (YOUN’G’OTE).
