Cameroonian arrested in India for "Black dollar fraud"

Two men from Africa’s Cameroon and Congo have been arrested for cheating a businessman of Rs.80 lakh on the pretext of cleaning dollars painted with black ink to their original form, police said on Monday.
Kamleu Nya Alain, a 43-year-old from Cameroon, and Mwanza Nawej Yesh, a 42-year-old from Congo, were arrested on Sunday near a hotel in Civil Lines area of north Delhi. They have been booked on charges of dishonestly receiving stolen property and cheating under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, and also under the Foreigners Act.

Police said both the accused reside in Mehrauli area of south Delhi.

“Alain came to India in May 2015 and was staying here without a valid passport and visa. Yesh has been residing in India for the last three years without a valid passport and visa,” Deputy Commissioner of Police Madhur Verma said.

He said police seized two packets containing black papers, claimed to contain $1 million each, five packets of photocopies of Indian rupees in the denomination of Rs.1,000, two bottles of chemical substances used to clean the black paper and a kit, used for demonstration to clients converting the black paper to white.

The two accused, in connivance with a man named Rozer, who also hails from an African country and is absconding so far, cheated Delhi businessman Aditya Bondwal to the tune of Rs.80 lakh on the pretext of providing him $1 million ‘black dollars’ by cleaning and changing it to the original form.

Police said Alain and Yesh came to India on tourist visas and met Rozer.

“They all planned to cheat Indians through this black dollar fraud. Rozer met Aditya Bondwal in Delhi during the India Africa Summit 2016. Rozer won his confidence and concocted a ‘black dollar’ story,” the officer said.

Rozer showed interest in Bondwal’s business and proposed to invest $1 million.

Rozer told Bondwal that his father Marafa Hamidou Yaya, who used to be the right-hand man of Cameroon President Paul Biya, was in jail since 2012 and all his accounts were blocked. And so he did not have any legal money.

In his next meeting, Rozer told Bondwal he has got $1 million painted with black ink.

Rozer said the money could pass through customs in only in its black form, but it can be changed into its original form by cleaning.

He took Rs.30 lakh from Bondwal in the name of cleaning the black dollars, saying a costly ink and powder were required for the purpose.

He then introduced Bondwal with both Alain and Yesh, saying they were experts in cleaning black dollars, police said.

Bondwal, who is a manufacturer of construction equipment, informed police that Alain and Yesh took Rs.50 lakh more from him.

The accused were asking more money from Bondwal, saying the quality of ink and powder was not that good, and so they needed to get better quality ink and for that purpose, they needed Rs.42 lakh more, police said.

 The reopening of Douala International airport initially predicted for Monday March 21, cannot be respected. The airport has only just undergone the first phase of rehabilitation, said Jean Carmille Ngono.

 Ngono, a technician at Cameroon Airports Authority, ADC, stated that the second phase which consists of rehabilitation on parking space and surroundings will only be completed by April 1st.

The first phase which went on for 21 days has been completed with the rehabilitation of some 2,350 metres length and 45metres width of the tarmac. Technicians revealed to Cameroon Journal Monday that some 500metres of the length which is expected to complete the 3,850metres will only be ready in the first week of April. Aircraft taxiways, aprons and passenger terminals are also still expected to be rehabilitated.

However there will be a partial reopening of the Douala Airport early Tuesday March 22 with the first flight being a Cargo aircraft to land at the tarmac by 3am. The first CAMAIR CO aircraft to land at the rehabilitated runway will be at 8am. The General Manager of Cameroon Airports Authority Thomas OWONA ASSOUMOU is categorical; the airport will reopen Tuesday morning “I assure you by Monday midnight the airport will be reopened.”

Business persons are back in their various sites and some travel agencies have begun attending to customers.

Transport minister is expected to visit the airport to give kick off for activities to partially resume.

The Douala airport is expected to welcome the Bafana Bafanas of South Africa when they arrive for their March 26 AFCON qualifiers against the Indomitable Lions in Limbe. CAF rules do not permit long travels for teams and so it will be impossible for the South Africans to land in Yaounde before making a long drive of about six hours to Limbe.

Yes good afternoon.

CJ: Can you tell us the situation in the village at the moment?

Well it is horrible what we are living through in the village. On Friday night I heard rumors that some Bangolan people had constituted themselves in terrorist groups and were planning to attack the village. When I informed the competent authorities, they proceeded by making road blocks and blocked all access into the village.

Then on Saturday at about 3pm, I was resting in my bedroom when I heard a gunshot outside. I immediately jumped out of my bed, took my gun and headed outside. There was pandemonium – my children and my wives were all running into the palace. I came and met my first son who is a student, a law student in the University of Eheheh SOA doing his masters, lying down in a pool of his own blood and I actually saw the person who shot him running away. When he heard my voice shouting that they have shot my son, he turned and tried to shoot at me, but I don’t know what happened, the gun jammed and he could not get me. Then I now realized that he was not alone, they had surrounded the palace so they started firing from all directions to the palace. So I quickly mobilized my Nchindaswho were in the palace to riposte. So from 3pm to midnight when intervention came from Bamenda, we were fighting with them, some of them we successfully took some guns from them and even a telephone from one.

CJ: We are told that Palace guards first fired gunshots at protesters.

How can that be true? First, of all protesters, they were coming armed, is that how protesters go for protest? Do you go for protest armed?

CJ: Who is the Fon of Bangolan now?

I am the Fon of Bangolan for 34 years and am answering you from my palace, am not answering from out of the palace. There is an impostor, my step brother – when our father died and they made me Fon, where was he that he wants to be Fon only today?

CJ: We hear the village has been militarized, what do you have to say about that, especially those who were injured, what is their situation.

I don’t know about those who were injured because I know about my son who was injured. My son was injured, they shot my son, they shot my son. I don’t know whether somebody was shot on their side, up till this moment I don’t have that information. And let me tell you, people like misinformation; do you go to protest in your palace firing guns? Is that protest? They are operating like terrorists and they have started kidnapping people and taking them to the forest and tying them there. Is that how people protest.

 CJ: So what are you doing to bring calm into the village, it is in chaos.

But the village is in chaos caused by them, do you come overnight and say you want to overthrow a Fon by force? Is that how we do it? Is that how they change a Fon in the Northwest? Those who are sponsoring it know for what reasons they are sponsoring it and we know all of them, it is being sponsored and we know those who are sponsoring it. Am in the palace and we are ready for the worst am in the palace with my family, I have never left my palace since I came up here, I have never left my palace.

World News Daily Report reports that the historian, while meeting the press to present his new book The Family Life of Jesus Christ, presented the astonishing results of a research which took him almost eight years to complete.

“We studied not only the Bible itself, but other important Christian texts like the Holy Book of Mormon and Biblical apocrypha” said Professor Jones. “Many different writings suggest that the Christ was not only married, but polygamous. After a thorough research, we were able to determine that Jesus had a total of twelve wives, and that they played important roles in the Church while he was alive.”

According to the controversial historian, the importance of Jesus’ wives was hidden by the early Christian Church, as it became tainted with Roman misogyny.

“The Romans clearly disliked polygamy and they didn’t give much importance to the role of women,” he told reporters. “All the texts concerning his wives were removed of the biblical canon during the First Council of Nicaea in 325, or during the Council of Rome in 382. Fortunately, a few manuscripts have survived the large scale destruction that was orchestrated by the catholic Church, and we can still read the truth today.”

Professor Jones’ claim has generated a real tsunami of comments on the social media, and brought reactions from various religious organizations.

His Twitter account was literally flooded with insults after his announcement, calling him everthing from a ‘lunatic’ to a ‘heretic’ or a ‘Satan worshipper’.

Despite his association with a Mormon university, he has received little support, even from his employers or other members of the Church of Jesus Christ and the Latter-day Saints, who have mostly taken their distances from him.

Man fitted with bionic penis finally loses virginity at 44 with sex worker

A man who lost his penis in a childhood accident has finally lost his virginity – at the age of 44.

Mohammed Abad has a £70,000 “bionic penis” and tested it for the first time with sex worker Charlotte Rose. Both of them are pictured above. Look at how happy they are. 

The security guard from Edinburgh said of the experience:

“It was great. I’ve been waiting for this day since I was 18. But now a big burden is off my back and I’m so happy.”

Mohammed, known as Mo, was lucky to survive after he was run over and dragged 600 yards when he fell into the road during a snowball fight aged six.

After the accident, doctors attached a makeshift fleshy tube, but it wasn’t until 2012 that the NHS was able to fit him with an 8in state-of-the art bionic penis.

It took surgeons at University College London three years to mould Mohammed’s new penis using skin taken from his arm. It has two tubes which inflate to give him an erection when he presses a button on his testicle.

But Mo had to wait to lose his virginity because it has only recently become fully functioning.

Charlotte, 35, got in touch with Mo after hearing about his plight and he asked her to be a part of his first sexual experience.

Mo explained:

“I wanted someone who was willing to accept me the way I was. I’m a learner. I’ve got L plates. I didn’t want to go in all guns blazing and make an idiot of myself.”

The pair met for the first time in a central London hotel and spent a few days getting to know each other before they had sex.

A setback saw Mo’s bionic penis malfunction, with one side of the pump failing to inflate properly on the big night.

The pair were forced to delay the big moment.

Mo said:

“It was frustrating, but I’d already waited 20 years, so one more day didn’t hurt.”

On the following evening, everything went smoothly. Mo says:

“When Charlotte saw it for the first time, she was silent and I was a bit worried. But then she said: ‘It’s incredible’. It’s nice to hear a lady say that. After it was over, I lay there with a big smile on my face.”

Charlotte usually charges £160 an hour for her services but waived her fee for Mo.

“It was a real honour to be asked because your first time is a memory in your life you never forget,” she said. 

“I wanted to make sure there was no pressure for Mo. There was a lot of fun, smiles and giggles. The room got quite heated. In the end, he lasted for an hour and three quarters. I was impressed.”

The pair have become good friends and Mo says their encounter has given him the confidence to start dating again. He has been single after splitting up with his wife two years ago.

Mo married in 2012 but only told his wife he was missing his penis on their wedding night. She stood by her husband but the marriage eventually broke down.

He says his ultimate goal is to become a father.

“Doctors have been testing my sperm count and testosterone levels and everything is possible,” Mo explained. 

"A friend is helping me with ­dating because it’s all new to me. My confidence has been so low, but thanks to Charlotte I have a new spring in my step.”

Photos: 30 African migrants dead, 500 rescued as EU-bound boats capsizes off Libya shores

At least 30 illegal African migrants have drowned when their boats capsized off the western shores of Libya. According to Libya's Coast Guard, Al-Zawia office, EU-bound three boats loaded with some 500 illegal migrants were intercepted and rescued off Mellitah coast on Saturday, March 19. Three other boats unfortunately sank, leaving about 30 migrants, including men and women, dead.


Four bodies have been recovered while the others are still missing. The Coast Guard said disclosed that the three rescued boats were set on fire after taking the migrants to safety.

Obama becomes the first president to visit Cuba in 88 years (photos)

Obama arrived at Havana's Jose Marti International Airport in Air Force One, the presidential jet with "United States of America" emblazoned across its fuselage, a sight almost unimaginable not long ago on the island, just 90 miles (145 km) off the coast of Florida.

He arrived to small but cheering crowds on Sunday at the start of a historic visit to Cuba that opened a new chapter in U.S. engagement with the island's Communist government after decades of hostility between the former Cold War foes.

He was met by Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez, the top Cuban official present. The formal welcoming ceremony will be on Monday when Obama meets the Cuban president at the presidential palace.

U.S. officials appeared unfazed by Castro’s absence from the airport welcome, even though he personally met and greeted Pope Francis in September. Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump tweeted that Obama’s visit was a “big deal” but that he got “no respect.”

Obama will hold talks with Castro – but not his brother Fidel, the revolutionary leader - and speak to entrepreneurs on Monday. He meets privately with dissidents, addresses Cubans live on state-run media and attends an exhibition baseball game on Tuesday.

The trip carries both symbolism and substance after decades of hostility between Washington and Havana.

Traveling with first lady Michelle Obama, her mother and their daughters, Sasha and Malia, Obama took in the sights of the colonial-era neighborhood and was given a tour of Havana's 18th century cathedral by Cardinal Jaime Ortega, who played a role in secret talks that led to the rapprochement 15 months ago.

The Obamas dined at the San Cristobal restaurant, run by an Afro-Cuban as part of a cautious opening to private enterprise since Fidel Castro handed power to his brother in 2008.
