Wow! Billionaire spends £5.5 million to take 2,500 workers on holiday (Photos)

Staff at a Chinese mail order firm are enjoying a holiday in Spain, thanks to their boss, Li Jinyuan, the billionaire owner of direct-sales firm Tiens Group. According to the Guardian, the treat for 2,500 workers cost him  a whopping £5.5 million as he chartered 20 planes and four high speed trains, as well as booking 1,500 hotel rooms. Their trip, which included visits to Madrid and Barcelona. 
Last year, Li who is China’s 33rd richest person sent more than 6,400 workers on a trip to France in what was believed to be the country’s largest ever tour group.

That entailed booking 140 hotels in Paris and over 4,700 rooms in Cannes and Monaco.
Even that pales into insignificance compared with the holiday given to 12,700 workers at Infinitus China, who were sent to Thailand and feasted at a number of ban.

Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs was pictured sharing jokes with three women at his George's restaurant in Manchester as pictures surfaced of his wife, Stacey, crying outside a night club in Manchester amid divorce and marriage problems as a result of Giggs' infidelity.

The photos according to Sunday Mirror, taken at the Manchester United legend’s eatery, should prove things are over for long-suffering wife Stacey after she ended their marriage and will possibly take 50% of his £40million fortune.

Giggs, 42, was holding court with two blondes and a brunette.Yesterday one friend close to Stacey, 37, said:

“If there was any doubt that things were over between Ryan and Stacey this picture proves it. It’s the final kick in the teeth for her.”

Stacey and Giggs held crisis talks last week to try to save their marriage.

The footballer has vowed to stay at the ­marital home for as long as he can for the sake of the couple’s two children. And Giggs, United’s ­assistant manager who watched his club beat Norwich 1-0 yesterday, has confided in pals he may look to leave the Premier League club before the new season to make a fresh start.

Our exclusive ­pictures of Giggs were taken five days after he and Stacey had a heart-to-heart over whether there was any chance they could heal their shattered relationship.

They left George’s together on Sunday night and returned to their nearby ­£4million mansion in Worsley, Manchester.

The pair spoke late into the night trying to find a way to patch things up. But on Thursday Giggs was back at George’s for a spring party where he soon caught the attention of a group of ladies at the bar.

There is no suggestion he is ­involved with any of them. But an onlooker said:

“He seemed to be in good spirits. He was laughing and joking with everyone. There were a lot of his friends there and he was having a good time.

“He was having a joke with a table full of girls. You wouldn’t think he’d been all over the papers because his marriage is on the rocks. He was having a good time.”

Foster mum sentenced to life in prison for brutally battering 18-month-old toddler to death

Evil foster mum Kandyce Downer has been jailed for life for battering 18-month-old toddler Keegan Downer to death after offering her a supposed loving home.

The 35-year-old was convicted on Tuesday, May 3 after a trial at Birmingham crown court of killing Keegan, formerly Shi-Anne at the family home on September 5, 2015.

 

Downer took in the little girl at her home in Beckbury Road, Weoley Castle, in January The 2015 after she was born to a heroin-addict mother. But she died in September last year from septicaemia, infection, blunt chest trauma and an old head injury after Downer inflicted more than 120 separate injuries on the youngster.

"It is a horrific tale of callous conduct," Mrs Justice Frances Patterson sain while sentencing Downer. " It can only be described as vicious. You have shown no remorse. I sentence you to life and you must serve a minimum period of 18 years."

Keegan Downer’s paternal grandmother (pictured) spoke to the media after today’s sentencing. Elaine Downer is understood to be based out of the UK but flew back for the trial.

"I never met Keegan before but when I heard about what happened I had to be here. I  have nightmares about it. I can’t explain how I feel. I know I’ve never met her but she was part of me. l will never see her grow up or hear her laugh or watch her get married. I feel terrible about being robbed of that. It’s a nightmare but I’m pleased justice has been served."

Spokesman for the toddler’s former foster family Darren Mahon, who cared for the baby described the killer as “conniving and manipulative.

Speaking before sentencing the dad-of-five, aged 41, said his own children had needed counselling since her death.

"She has showed no emotion or remorse at all. Hearing the details has been a nightmare. None of us have been able to sleep. When we go to bed we think of her and when we wake in the morning we think of her. It’s just heartbreaking what has happened to her. I am just grateful to the police and the way that the paramedics and hospital cared for her even though they could not save her."

Police now fear Downer, who has four other children, only wanted the child so she could pocket extra benefits. Birmingham Crown Court heard little Keegan suffered two broken legs and seven fractured ribs over a “significant period”.

Downer denied murder and causing or allowing the death of a child. After almost three hours of deliberations, a jury returned a verdict of guilty on both counts.

A trial heard Downer was paid a weekly fee by the local authority to care for the tot. Keegan moved in with Downer and her four other children in Weoley Castle, Birmingham, last January. She was last seen by a health visitor five months before her death - who reported that the youngster seemed fine.

On September 5 last year Downer, a full-time business student, made a 999 call from her family home. When paramedics arrived she told them:

"I don’t know when she stopped breathing because I was in the bath."

Shockingly, the court heard Downer had delayed calling 999 and instead drove off to dump Keegan’s old blood-stained mattress, a babygrow and pyjamas near a skip. Jurors were told a post mortem examination revealed 127 separate injuries to Keegan’s body.

as Emma appeared to be going through Stacey's mobile phone after they left the Club.

Stacey stayed in the marriage despite the fact that Giggs slept with his brother's wife for 8 years and even aborted his baby that was conceived, but she decided to quit the marriage after Giggs bought expensive gifts and flowers for PR girl Kate Greville who had a lavish wedding at Ibiza in 2011.

Earlier this week vandals branded him a “cheating tw*t” in spray-paint on the walls of his £2million mansion home.

Katie Price also recently revealed Ryan Giggs had flirted with her before. The Man U legend stands to lose half of his £40m fortune if she divorces him.

Woman arrested after she tried to rip off her boyfriend's testicles during a heated argument

28-yearold Rosarie Francois has been arrested after reportedly confessing to trying to rip her boyfriend's testicles off. According to Daily Star, Ms Francois was involved in a heated 'verbal altercation' with her boyfriend while driving in the car.

The two lovers continued to bicker when they returned to their home in Florida, US. Things took a bad turn and got really nasty when the unnamed boyfriend decided to take a shower.
Enraged Francois responded by 'kicking in the bathroom door and grabbing the victim by his testicles', according to reports. The fight then 'moved to the kitchen, where the offender grabbed the victim by the testicles and scratched his face

When cops arrived at the scene, Francois reportedly confessed 'I tried to rip his balls off'.

She faces a charge of misdemeanour domestic battery and is currently being held in custody.

Another footballer 26 year old Bernardo Ribeiro dies after heart attack while playing

After the sudden deaths of Patrick Ekeng and Jeanine Christelle Djomnang in the last three days, Brazilian footballer Bernardo Ribeiro once linked with a move to Man U passed away on Sunday May 8th after collapsing on the pitch during a match on Saturday. Brazilian Ribeiro was playing for Friburguense in his homeland on Saturday when he took ill and had to be replaced. He died the next day..

 "The Nova Friburgo sporting community is in mourning," his club said in a press statement. "Friburgense Athletic Club says farewell to a great athlete and human being, loved by every single player, member of the technical staff, director and club official. Our deepest sympathies to the Frizao family and all the family of Bernardo Ribeiro."

Newcastle Jets, his former club also paid tribute to the late footballer. May his soul Rest in Peace.

Arsenal solidified their spot in third place as they secured a well deserved 2-2 draw against Man City while Real Madrid continued its search for a La liga title with a comprehensive 3-2 win over Valencia.

The draw puts Man city;s champions league qualification hopes in doubt as two wins from Man U will guarantee Man United a top four spot, while Spurs will likely only need a draw now to seal second place ahead of Arsenal.

Cristiano Ronaldo was in dazzling form for Real Madrid as he scored twice for the hosts in an entertaining goals-filled game that stretches the La Liga title race to the wire.

Three Spanish journalists kidnapped in Syria return home

According to a statement released by the Spanish government, the three Spanish journalists, Antonio Pampliega, Jose Manuel Lopez and Angel Sastre who were kidnapped last July in the northern Syrian city of Aleppo have returned home to Spain. Acting Deputy Prime Minister Soraya Saenz de Santamaria welcomed the journalists when they landed at the Torrejon de Ardoz airbase in Madrid, where they had arrived on a flight from Turkey.

Acting Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy tweeted "Welcome!" in Spanish, accompanied by a photograph of the three men arriving.

Aleppo is held variously by extremist groups like the al Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Front, and other anti-government militia, including ISIS.

The three men seemed to have entered Syria from southern Turkey last July 10 and had not been heard from since July 13. A local fixer who was reportedly working with the men also went missing.

Spanish daily El Pais reported at the time that government sources refused to assume that the reporters had been kidnapped but admitted that there were indications that they had been abducted.

The three men who were members of the group, Reporters Without Borders, are freelance journalists and experienced war reporters, and have covered conflicts from the field before.

Now all three are safely back home.

Man kills his brother over a cheeseburger

Over the weekend, a man in Lagos killed his older brother during an argument over a torchlight. This time, a 25 year old Florida man, Benjamin Angus Middendorf, killed his own brother and has been arrested and charged with first degree murder in the death of his older brother whom he shot and killed on Thursday in an argument over a cheeseburger, Police said.

Benjamin shot his 28 year old brother Nicholas Middendorf once in the chest, Fox 35 Orlando reported.
In a 911 call released by the St. Cloud Police Department, Benjamin Middendorf said.

“We were in a fight and I grabbed a gun and I shot him. Oh my God!”

His mother then took the phone from him and told the dispatcher during the 911 call that her son had killed her other son.

“Where is your son who shot your other son?” the dispatcher asks the woman.

She replies, “Right here holding my son,” and then is overheard saying, “I hope you go to jail.”

Police responded to the 911 call around 10:30 p.m.

“I can tell you that there was some sort of argument, sadly over a cheeseburger, whether he wanted one or not," police spokesperson Sgt. Denise Roberts told Fox 35.

“He admits that he does own a 9-mm. gun and he obviously puts himself on scene," Roberts said. "He picked up the phone. They called 911, cooperated fully. But as far as a full confession, no. At this point he said he didn't recall."

An arrest affidavit says Benjamin Middendorf, his brother and their mother had been drinking with friends, celebrating Cinco de Mayo, but Benjamin Middendorf told detectives he was not drinking, that he didn't know how the argument escalated.
